Position: COOK

LA College is situated in Magwi. We are looking for an energetic person to cook lunch for our teaching staff. Duties include: cooking, general cleaning, pot and plate wash, stock rotation. Great working conditions,  meals on duty and training are provided. For this position you must be able to work Monday to Friday and occassionally weekends when needed.

Position: ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

An excellent opportunity exists within a community Capacity building organisation for an administration and office assistant. LA College is a new high school own by community with primary focus is in delivering a high standard of quality education for the community. 
We are seeking a Full Time office assistant who is outgoing, friendly, enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills.  The successful applicant will be required to work from LA college office in Magwi and will be responsible for the following duties:

• Manage all incoming calls
• Sort incoming and outgoing mails
• Perform basic clerical duties such as email, fax and photocopy
• Manage LA principal diary

  • Welcome guest and invite guests speakers for learning purposes


The successful candidate will have the following attributes and skills:

• Prior experience is beneficial but not necessary
• Excellent customer service
• Basic knowledge of community development
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Dependable, honest and punctual
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications

Position: Teachers (7)

Magwi Development Agency Australia Inc (MADAA) provides a broad range of Community Capacity Building services and education in South Sudan. One of these projects is Leopoldo Anywar College. We are happy to announce the creation of seven positions for the secondary school teachers in LA College. South Sudan Education Award Level Secondary Teachers (Salary rate depends on the applicant’s knowledge, experience and skills). The applicants should have proven knowledge related to teaching in high school, working with young people within the school system and general understanding of South Sudan integrated curriculum.  Applicants should have a minimum qualification of Diploma in Secondary Education from a reputable institution.
